Turkish occupation escalates attacks against Tishrin Dam and Qereqozaqê Bridge

The Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) issued a statement today, clarifying that the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries have intensified their attacks against Tishrin Dam and Qereqozaqê Bridge.

The statement reads:

"The Turkish occupation and its mercenaries continued their aggressive attacks on the regions of North and East Syria yesterday, Friday. At Tishrin Dam, the occupation's warplanes launched a series of airstrikes on the dam’s vicinity, accompanied by heavy artillery shelling. The bombardment mainly targeted the workers' residential areas of the dam, causing significant material damage.

Similarly, the Turkish occupation warplanes carried out several airstrikes on the villages of Ghesaq and Al-Tina near Qereqozaqê Bridge. Meanwhile, heavy artillery, tanks, rocket launchers, and mortar shells targeted the villages of Al-Tina, Jada, Bir Hasu, Dikan, and Al-San', as well as the hills of Seifi and Qereqozaqê in an indiscriminate manner, resulting in material damage to civilian homes and properties.

On the Deir Hafir front, Turkish reconnaissance drones continued to hover over the area throughout the day yesterday."
