At least nine people, including a woman, were killed in different areas of Syria within the past 24 hours, some at the hands of unidentified gunmen, while others died in brawls or due to landmine explosions.

A young man was stabbed to death by another young man in the Karm al-Hourani neighborhood of Hama city due to personal disputes. Meanwhile, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that a woman was shot and killed by her brother near the Qatari camp in the village of Shamarin, in the northern countryside of Aleppo. In Latakia city, a young man was shot dead by another young man following a brawl in the southern Raml area.

As a result of landmine explosions left behind by the war, two people were killed in the Bishri area of the Syrian desert, south of Maadan in eastern rural Raqqa, while two others lost their lives in the southern desert of Deir ez-Zor while searching for truffles. A fifth victim, a man in his forties from the village of Jannin in the countryside of Daraa city, was killed by shrapnel from a landmine in the rural areas of the city.

In a related incident, a member of the engineering teams affiliated with the Damascus authorities was killed while removing landmines in the village of Al-Fatira in the southern countryside of Idlib.
