The SDF Media Center revealed in a statement today that its forces had repelled the Turkish occupation's attacks on the Tishrin Dam and Qereqozaqê fronts. The statement read as follows:

"The Turkish occupation and its mercenaries have now entered their fourth month of aggression without achieving any progress as planned, thanks to the resilience and steadfastness of our forces. Nevertheless, they continue to attempt in vain by persisting with their attacks.

On the Tishrin Dam front, at 7:00 a.m. yesterday, Saturday, Turkish occupation mercenaries launched an attack on one of our positions, but it was repelled as our fighters confronted them, killing two mercenaries.

At 11:00 a.m., the mercenaries launched a second attack in a desperate attempt to retrieve their dead, but they faced fierce resistance from our fighters and were again repelled. Four more mercenaries were killed and several others were injured. After their failed attacks, the mercenaries resorted to shelling our positions with heavy artillery and mortar fire, causing material damage. Meanwhile, aircraft intensified their flights over the area.

At 1:00 p.m. yesterday, a Turkish occupation drone bombed one of our positions in the northern countryside of the dam, resulting in the martyrdom of one of our fighters and the injury of another.

In response to the occupation’s attacks and those of its mercenaries, the Martyr Haroun Units carried out an operation at 12:00 p.m. yesterday, destroying a military vehicle belonging to the mercenaries. The number of casualties resulting from the operation remains unknown.

On the Qereqozaqê front, the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries targeted the villages of Bir Hasso and Kheshkhasha with over 13 artillery and mortar shells, causing significant material damage to civilian homes and property.

In response to the occupation’s aggression and that of its mercenaries, our fighters carried out two operations targeting the occupation’s positions and fortifications. One of their fortified points was hit, and a military pickup truck was destroyed. However, the number of casualties among them remains unknown."
