"Turkish attacks create the right conditions for ISIS emergence "

ISIS mercenaries intensified their movements and attacks against the regions of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria after the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries launched attacks on the Manbij area, the Tishrin Dam, and the Qaraquzak Bridge. 

 The last attack carried out by ISIS sleeper cells was on December 30, 2024, during which two members of the internal security forces in al-Shaddadi and the surrounding areas of Tal Hamis were martyred. Before that, the sleeper cells of ISIS mercenaries launched attacks in the vicinity of Raqqa and Deir ez-Zor.

 The co-chair of the Executive Council of the Deir ez-Zor region, Mohammad al-Dakhil, explained in a statement to ANHA's agency: "ISIS exploited the security situation following the political and military changes, and there are countries that have warned of the dangers of reviving ISIS in the region. ISIS could take advantage of the security vacuum in any geographical area by controlling military units and security points affiliated with the regime and seizing their weapons."

 Turkish attacks create conditions for the emergence of ISIS mercenary cells.

 Mohammed al-Dakhil pointed out that the Syrian Democratic Forces and Internal Security Forces are preoccupied with repelling the attacks of the Turkish occupation state and its affiliated mercenaries, and said: "The Turkish attacks create the appropriate conditions for the emergence of ISIS cells and possibly the revival of the organization." This is what the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria has repeatedly warned against and called for an end to the Turkish aggression in the region.

 The co-chair of the Executive Council in the Deir ez-Zor canton explained that there is constant communication with the people through meetings and keeping the residents informed of the latest developments. He emphasized that the autonomous administration is part of the Syrian geography and that the administration works to unify opinions and bring the viewpoints of its components closer together, aiming for a good relationship with the rest of the Syrian regions. This is affirmed in the social contract of the autonomous administration and in all its opinions and political orientations.

 Mohammed al-Dakhil emphasized the necessity for the people to rally around the Democratic Autonomous Administration, which has sacrificed 14,000 martyrs and thousands of wounded for the sake of the Syrian revolution.

 Mohammed al-Dakhil confirmed that autonomous administration is by the people and for the people, saying: "We manage ourselves, and there is an exchange of opinions and viewpoints. Therefore, we are here to serve our people, and our people are always united around their administration." And we look forward to achieving a constructive dialogue with the Syrian Interim Government soon.
