The Turkish occupation state has escalated its attacks on the region of North and East Syria since October 23, and the attacks have led to the martyrdom of 18 people and the injury of 65 people.

The Co-Chair of the Executive Council of the Afrin and Shahba Canton, Malak Hussein explained that: "The goal of the Turkish state from these attacks is to eliminate the project of Autonomous Administration and  revive ISIS mercenaries."

Malak Al Hussein noted that the repercussions of these attacks are doubled on the Afrin and Shahba cantons, due to the stifling siege imposed on the canton by the Damascus government forces.

She criticized the positions of international forces, such as Russia and all international bodies regarding the attacks.

"The Turkish occupation state must be held accountable for the war crimes it is committing in NE Syria, ISIS gets benefits from these attacks," Al Hussein added.

Malak Al Hussein concluded, "We will resist the occupation to protect and preserve the gains of our revolution."
