Israeli shelling of Damascus countryside, reports of injuries

The "Voice of the Capital" website reported hearing an explosion near the Sayyida Zeinab area in Damascus countryside, which resulted in columns of smoke rising, amid information about an Israeli air strike targeting the farms area.

It also indicated that the shelling on the outskirts of Damascus targeted three sites in "Sayyida Zeinab, the vicinity of the Damascus International Airport Hotel, and the vicinity of the town of Najha."

In turn, "Sham FM" radio reported that Israel targeted three points around the Damascus countryside in the city of Sayyida Zeinab (the vicinity of the Damascus International Airport Hotel - the vicinity of the town of Najha), and initial information indicates that there were injuries without information about the extent of the damage.

The Damascus government agency quoted what it called a military source as saying, "At approximately 05:18 pm today, the Israeli enemy launched an air aggression from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting a number of civilian sites south of Damascus, which led to some material losses."
