Transitional government forces attack village southwest Sweida

The countryside of Sweida witnessed new violations of the ceasefire, as the Syrian transitional government forces targeted a village southwest of Sweida with heavy machine gun fire, with no information yet on casualties.

This afternoon, Tuesday, the Sweida countryside experienced a new breach of the ceasefire agreement, as Syrian transitional government forces fired at civilian homes in the village of Ara, southwest of Sweida, from their positions in the village of Kharbat Samar, amid a lack of confirmed information regarding human losses so far.

Earlier today, transitional government forces launched RPG shells from their positions in the village of Al-Mazra‘a in the Sweida countryside toward sites in the villages of Al-Majdal and Ariqa in the western part of the governorate, with no details reported about the extent of human or material losses.

Another ceasefire violation was recorded yesterday, coinciding with an internet outage in the area, involving intense machine gun fire targeting the villages of Samid and Al-Kharsa in Sweida countryside, with no reports of casualties.
