As part of the January 29 agreement between the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Interim Government, the return of displaced Afrin residents to their homes and lands continues. Following the arrival of five previous groups, preparations are underway for the departure of the sixth group.

According to information we received from displaced families, the sixth group, comprising approximately 1,000 families residing in the cities of Qamishlo and Derik, will depart tomorrow (May 21) at 7:00 AM, heading from Qamishlo towards Afrin.

It is worth noting that the first group of displaced Afrin residents currently in Kobani, consisting of 600 families, arrived in Afrin yesterday (May 19).

From the Jazera region, four previous groups have returned to Afrin and its surrounding areas as follows: 400 families on March 9, 200 families on April 4, 800 families on April 14, and approximately 1,000 families on May 9.
