Thousands Participate in Cologne March

The march, held in the German city of Cologne as part of the "Freedom for Abdullah Ocalan and a Political Solution to the Kurdish Question" campaign, led by the Kurdish Women's Movement in Europe (TJK-E) and the Kurdistan Democratic Society Party in Europe (KCDK-E), has begun with the participation of tens of thousands.

The march, the third of its kind this year, began today in the German city of Cologne with a mass gathering in Deutzer-Werfeitt Square. The demonstrators began their march by calling for the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan, the realization of the "peace process and a democratic society," and reminding European countries of their responsibilities in resolving the Kurdish question.

The march started from the banks of the Rhine River, with the participation of Kurds and their allies. Tens of thousands participated in processions led by women. Female artists also took part in the women's march.

The participants carried a picture of leader Abdullah Ocalan and a banner that read: "Stop the isolation, torture, and chaos – Freedom for Leader Apo."

They chanted: "Long live Leader Apo," "No life without a leader," and "Women, life, freedom."

The crowd, which filled the streets of Cologne, continued its march with great enthusiasm.
