Thousands of people from the region participated in the activities, such as mass demonstrations and statements, in their cities and districts, along with representatives of political parties, the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, and civil society institutions, especially humanitarian and human rights organizations.

Participants in the events carried pictures of Leader Ocalan, pictures of the martyrs of the Turkish bombing, pictures of targeted infrastructure sites, and banners reading “No to the Turkish occupation,” “No to the attacks of the Turkish occupation state on NE Syria,” and “Turkey is committing war crimes.”

In the Euphrates Canton, the people went out in a massive demonstration, after which the co-chair of the Kobani City Council, Mustafa Ito, gave a speech in which he said: “The goal of the Turkish occupation state is to displace the residents of the region by putting pressure on them, through its bombing of service facilities and infrastructure in the NE Syria,” and he continued. “Today, the entire border strip is being subjected to intense bombardment without anyone caring, as our areas are being subjected to annihilation.”

Manbij

The people of Manbij Canton went out in a demonstration, and the co-chair of the Tal Hawzan Council, Ahmed Al-Hussein, gave a speech in which he said: “The Turkish state believes that isolating the leader from the outside world will limit the influence of his thought on the peoples, but it is wrong and reality proves this matter, as the peoples are rising up to demand their freedom.

He stressed, "We will follow in the footsteps of the martyrs, and we will adhere to our land and defend it until the last breath."

Aleppo

In this context, the General Council of Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiya neighborhoods organized a demonstration, which began in front of the 8th of March Hall in the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood in the city of Aleppo.

Upon its arrival at Martyrs’ Square, the participants observed a minute of silence for the souls of the martyrs, then the co-chair of the Economic Council, Salah Muhammad, delivered a speech in which he said: “Because the Turkish occupation failed to eliminate the Kurdistan Freedom Movement, it is committing massacres against the Kurds, in front of the eyes of the whole world.” The demonstration ended with chanting, "Resistance is life."

Raqqa

In Raqqa Canon, the people of the eastern countryside of Raqqa made a statement to public opinion, which was read by the administrator in the eastern side of Raqqa Canton, Alia Suleiman, in conjunction with a statement by the Cantons' Economic and Agriculture Committee, which was read at Al-Naeem Roundabout in the center of Raqqa city by committee’s director of public properties, Issa al-Hamadin.

The 2 statements denounced the Turkish occupation attacks on oil and electricity stations and service facilities in NE Syria.

They stressed that the components of the region have become aware of the reality and goal of the Turkish occupation state, which seeks to strike AANES project, the components of NE Syria, and revive the sleeping cells of ISIS mercenaries.

And stressed resistance in the face of all attacks, achieving victory with determination, and joining hands with the military forces.

Deir ez-Zor

Members of the Democratic Civil Administration in Deir ez-Zor Canton gathered in front of the administration building in the Seven Kilo area to make a statement read by the co-chair of the Democratic Civil Administration in Deir ez-Zor District, Muhammad al-Rajab.

Civil society organizations in Deir ez-Zor Canton also made a statement, in which members of the organizations participated. And the Peasants’ Union, read by the member of civil society organizations Fadel Al-Hajji, in addition to a statement in the same regard, made by the Western Region Council, in which a number of residents and members of civil institutions in the western countryside of Deir ez-Zor participated, and it was read by Council member Nour Al-Ubbi.

The statements confirmed that: “After the failure of Turkey’s hostile policies towards our Autonomous Administration and its national project in NE Syria, and after its failure to achieve any result from its own war,the Turkish regime recall the history of its ancestors of sultans of blood and genocide.

The statements expressed their denunciation of the Turkish attacks on frastructure and stressed that the people of Deir ez-Zor stand against Turkish attacks and will not allow the security and stability of the region to be destabilized.

Tapqa

In Tabqa Canton, members of the Democratic Civil Administration, its affiliated offices and committees, political parties, and the Zenobia Women’s Assembly Council in Tabqa District gathered in front of the administration building and made a statement read by the co-chair of the District’s Executive Council, Hind Al-Ali, which said:

“The Turkish state’s targeting of internal security forces sites, civil and service institutions, energy sources, wheat storage sites, and a number of private facilities is a clear violation of international laws and their covenants, amounting to war crimes against humanity .”

The statement denounced "these attacks and violations on our regions, which led to a number of martyrs and wounded, in addition to severe damage to sources of livelihood and services."

In turn, the Zenobia Women's Gathering Council in Tabqa denounced these attacks during a statement read at the Sports Council Stadium by Council member Najah Hussein.

The statement stressed that "these violations are an explicit declaration by the Turkish occupation state to exterminate the peoples of the region by various means and methods."

The statement stressed, "Turkey has failed and will always fail in the face of the determination of our people and our insistence on clinging to our land."

The statement condemned the media blackout and international ignorance towards these crimes, which opens the way for the occupation to commit more crimes.
