Syrian Interim Government recognizes Autonomous Administration certificates

The Ministry of Education of the Syrian Interim Government issued Decision No. 1617/943 concerning certificates issued by the Autonomous Administration.

Based on the provisions of Law No. 31 of 2024,

Considering the need to take into account the circumstances and legal status of students in the eastern provinces,

As a continuation of the integration process aimed at building a unified educational system, following the implementation of the unified Syrian government curriculum across all Syrian provinces,

And in consideration of the public interest,

The following is decided:

Article 1

Students who previously studied under the Autonomous Administration's curricula are permitted to take the public certificate examinations (General Secondary Education and Basic Education) based on those curricula, in accordance with the unified national regulations and standards set by the Ministry of Education. This provision applies only during the 2025–2026 and 2026–2027 academic years.

Article 2

Certificates previously issued by the Autonomous Administration shall be recognized in accordance with the procedures and instructions adopted and in force by the Ministry.

Article 3

This decision shall be published and communicated to all concerned parties for implementation.
