With the acceleration of geopolitical events in Syria and the fall of the Assad regime, coinciding with the Turkish occupation army's attempts to expand its occupation in Syria, the Democratic Autonomous Administration project is considered the most suitable for Syria's future, according to several intellectuals from the city of Aleppo.

The experience of autonomous administration is a successful one and should be generalized.

The co-chair of the Aleppo Cultural Forum, Leyla Khaled, pointed out in her speech that the Syrian street in general is still living in a state of ambiguity and instability that affects the future of the country, with the legal and constitutional picture remaining unclear, following the fall of the Ba'ath regime in Damascus.

Leyla sent a message to all Syrians stating that the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria has successfully managed parts of the Syrian homeland with the participation of all components, thereby maintaining national unity without any discrimination based on the principles of justice and equality.

Leyla said that she is convinced that the autonomous administration areas are the only regions in Syria that currently enjoy social stability and civil peace, calling for the generalization of this experience across the entire Syrian geography to stop the existing chaos and instability.

The Syrian people deserve "positive" change.

Leyla continued her speech by saying: "Everyone knows that we live in one homeland where many cultures and sects coexist, and therefore everyone has the right to live in a safe and peaceful homeland."

She also urged the interim Syrian government in Damascus to learn lessons from regional countries that remained trapped in a cycle of chaos after the fall of their regimes, despite the passage of years, due to the loss of democracy in the formed institutions.

Affirming that the Syrian people, who have made sacrifices over the past 13 years, deserve positive change to achieve the desired goals, while preserving the gains that have been made, for a future of a unified Syria for all Syrians and to bring them together according to the principles of Syrian-Syrian dialogue.

The prosperous future of Syria is linked to the generalization of the autonomous administration model.

As for the co-chair of the Aleppo Cultural Forum, Ahmad Birhat, he said: "The pervasive authoritarian thought in some regimes over the past decades has made peoples rise up to change their current reality, including the Syrian revolution, which culminated in the downfall of the Ba'ath and produced many models of governance."

Ahmad saw that the best model for the country's future is the model of Democratic Autonomous Administration, as it guarantees the rights of all components in all formations, whether military or civilian, according to the principles of protecting everyone based on legitimate defense.

Unity and dialogue will restore the glory of Syrian civilization.

Regarding his preference for the autonomous administration model to be implemented in the future of Syria, Ahmed points out that ensuring women's rights and their participation in decision-making centers, democratizing institutions alongside success on all levels, and possessing a democratic social contract make the project align with the hopes of the Syrian people, in parallel with the end of tyranny based on respecting the coexistence mosaic among peoples.

At the end of his speech, Ahmad called for the revival of the glory of Syrian civilization through unity and national dialogue, to respond to those who attempt to steal Syrian history and land from the occupying countries under various names, with the Turkish occupying state at the forefront.

The people have the right to choose the model of their future governance.

Meanwhile, history professor Mohamed Sheikh Qanbar said, "The peaceful coexistence among the components that make up the autonomous administration since its formation to this day makes it a welcomed project to be generalized throughout Syria."

Mohammed pointed out that eliminating the oppressive Ba'ath regime will open the door for the Syrian people to choose the best model for their future, as they are the ones who paid the price, and almost every household in Syria has a martyr, a wounded person, or a missing person.

As for the situation of the Kurdish people, who are considered one of the main components of Syrian society, Mohamed said that their suffering must be alleviated due to their displacement from their land at the hands of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries multiple times.

At the end of his talk, Professor of History Mohamed Sheikh Qanbar called for concerted efforts between the current government in Damascus and the autonomous administration to address the external threats facing the country.
