Syrian Initiative for Leader Ocalan's Freedom meets with figures in Tirbespiyê

As part of the activities of the Syrian Initiative for the Freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan and the global campaign for his freedom, a delegation from the initiative visited the city of Tirbespiyê today. They met with individuals who had met the leader during his time in Syria and Lebanon in the 1990s, at the office of the Democratic Union Party in the city.

During the meeting, Suleiman Khanika, a member of the initiative, spoke about the international conspiracy plotted against Leader Abdullah Ocalan, aimed at breaking the will of free and freedom-loving peoples.

He said, "The free democratic thought of the leader has been and continues to be the most suitable solution for the Middle East’s issues, especially the Kurdish cause. However, these solutions do not align with the interests of capitalist states, which is why their conspiracies continue."

He added that "the goal of these meetings is to discuss how to expand the joint struggle of peoples and democratic forces to achieve the physical freedom of the leader."

The floor was then opened for discussion, during which the attendees affirmed that the Turkish occupying state is hostile to the Kurdish people and other free peoples. They recalled how Leader Abdullah Ocalan spoke to them about the necessity for people to organize themselves, and that the revolutionary people's war is the path to saving peoples from dangers.

They stressed the need to escalate the pace of the struggle and that "the joint struggle of peoples and democratic forces is the path to achieving the physical freedom of the leader."
