Syrian Coast continues to bleed... new death toll

The death toll has continued to rise on the Syrian coast since March 6. A Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman announced that the Russian Hmeimim base in Latakia has received approximately 9,000 Syrians, and the number of Syrian refugees arriving from the Syrian coast to northern Lebanon has increased.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights revealed today that 93 civilians were killed on the Syrian coast, bringing the total number to 1,476.

Four massacres were recorded today in Tartus, Latakia, Hama, and Homs, killing 93 civilians.

In this context, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova announced that the Russian Hmeimim base in Latakia has received approximately 9,000 Syrians, most of whom are women and children, who fled the killing and violence in their areas on the Syrian coast.

The number of Syrian refugees fleeing the Syrian coast to northern Lebanon, specifically the Akkar region and Jabal Mohsen in Tripoli, has increased, reaching nearly ten thousand people in recent hours.
