26 years have passed since the international conspiracy against Leader Abdullah Ocalan, as he was arrested by the conspiracy of several countries and handed over to the Turkish occupation state.

The Kurdish historian and writer, Abdullah Şikakî, spoke to ANHA's agency about this topic, and said: "The Kurdish people have been exposed to many conspiracies in the history of Kurdistan."

Shakaki explained that this hostility towards the Kurds must be evaluated well, and continued his speech by saying: "Those who drew the map of the Middle East wanted to impose their dominance over it permanently, especially Kurdistan, and this map was drawn through the Sykes-Picot Agreement."

"A people yearning for freedom"

Şikakî mentioned that the Kurdish people are lovers and yearning for freedom, and added: "The Kurds are distinguished by their love for freedom, they cannot live without freedom, this is the Kurdish culture and it goes back to the nature of Kurdistan, the Kurds do not like the state and the systems of states, because states are known for their control and authoritarianism."

Commenting on the passing of a century since the Sykes-Picot Agreement,

Şikakî said: “Despite the passing of a century since the agreement, the dominant countries do not allow the Kurdish people to gain their freedom. The Kurdish people have staged many uprisings to gain their freedom, such as the uprising of Badrkhan Bey, Sheikh Saeed, and others. In the end, the Kurdish liberation movement based on the ideology of Leader Abdullah Ocalan emerged, and the Kurdish people are waging a great struggle under the umbrella of this movement. They have strengthened their intellectual ideology and started their revolution.”

Şikakî referred to the attempt of the occupying Turkish state to eliminate the revolution of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, and continued his speech by saying: “The goal of the occupying Turkish state was to eliminate the revolution of Abdullah Ocalan, and for this reason they communicated with countries that have interests in the Middle East to eliminate Leader Abdullah Ocalan and his revolution, but the leader was aware of this plan and knew that the Syrian state would not be able to withstand the dominant countries, so he left Syria.” The plotting of the dominant countries

Şikakî pointed out that the countries that impose their dominance on the world are the ones who plotted against Leader Abdullah Ocalan, and said: "The leader says (the plot was laid in Britain) and the leader himself said that he does not accept that the people of the country he remained in be subjected to pressure, so he left Syria."

The Kurdish historian and writer Abdullah Şikakî commented on the recent meetings with Leader Abdullah Ocalan and his call to solve the problems of the Middle East, saying: "Leader Abdullah Ocalan waged a great struggle for the people, and although he is now in prison, he says I am with you and I am doing my work among you, he says (I will do my best to serve my people and save them from injustice) and the leader never asked to be released from prison for himself, as he considers his presence in prison a struggle."

"If the occupying Turkish state was not in a predicament, it would not have resorted to Leader Abdullah Ocalan. Our people now hope to achieve peace. This movement insists on ensuring peace in Kurdistan and that the solution is in Imrali. The Turkish interior is boiling and no one trusts the state anymore. Therefore, the Turkish state is forced to take the path of peace," Şikakî  concluded
