Sheikh Murshid Mashouq Al-Khaznawi visits Yazidi house in Jazira canton

Sheikh Murshid Mashuq Al-Khaznawi, accompanied by the co-chair of the Democratic Islamic Society Conference in North and East Syria, Muhammad Mulla Rashid Gharzan, member of the Democratic Islam Conference, Abdul Karim Sarukhan, and the sheikh of the Qadiriyya Sufi order in Syria, Sheikh Muhammad Al-Qadiri, visited the Yazidi house in Al-Jazira canton, located in the village of Qazal Gokh of Amuda district.

The delegation was received by members of the Administrative Council of the Yazidi House of the Jazira region, and notables from the Yazidis.

Sheikh Murshid Al-Khaznawi spoke during the visit and noted that “the Yazidi people were subjected to 74 massacres, but despite that, they did not surrender and did not yield to the efforts of those who wanted to destroy and end the Yazidi people. The Yazidi people were stronger than their plans and efforts, and it aptly demonstrated their ability and adherence to their soil.”

For his part, the administrator of the Yazidi House, Farouk Tozo, welcomed the attendees and said: “We are pleased with your visit to us. You spread love and harmony between religions and components within your political discourse. We hope that peace and security will prevail in the world and that the culture of participation, brotherhood, tolerance and familiarity will spread among all components, sects, sects and religions.”

Member of the Administrative Council of the Yazidi House in Al-Jazira canton , Elias Sido, pointed out that “the revolution in North and East Syria removed all obstacles facing components and religions, and pointed out that there is no difference between religions and that the revolution planted trust between all components and religions and planted faith and love.”
