Shaddadi residents condemn Turkish occupation's attacks

The Turkish occupation state launched attacks on the infrastructure and vital facilities in the regions of North and East Syria between October 23 and 27, causing dozens of facilities to go out of service, in addition to resulting in the martyrdom of 18 citizens and injuring more than 65 others. 

 In this context, the residents of the city of al-Shaddadi in al-Jazira region expressed their rejection of these attacks. Citizen Dima al-Hassan said, "We condemn and denounce the Turkish occupation's attacks on the regions of North and East Syria, along with the deliberate killings of citizens and the targeting of vital infrastructure, energy sources, and hospitals."

 She pointed out that the occupation deliberately targets those facilities that are indispensable and essential for the survival of civilians.

  She criticized the silence of the international community regarding these attacks and called for it to break its silence.

 Meanwhile, citizen Reem al-Ahmad pointed out that the Turkish occupation's attacks with warplanes and drones on the regions of North and East Syria, and the targeting of citizens' livelihoods, reveal its deep-seated hatred towards the peoples of the region.

 She described the international community's silence regarding those attacks as "suspicious," and confirmed that the Turkish occupation exploits that silence to intensify its attacks on the region.

 Meanwhile, citizen Hassan Fayyad said: "We condemn and denounce in the strongest terms the Turkish occupation's attacks on our areas and the targeting of vital and service facilities."

 He pointed out that these attacks targeting institutions that provide services to citizens come after the occupation's failure to achieve its military ambitions and its inability to dismantle the social fabric in North and East Syria, as well as its defeat against the steadfast will of the region's peoples in building and developing autonomous administration.

 The people of the city of al-Shaddadi renewed their support for the Syrian Democratic Forces and standing with them in the same trench to face the challenges facing the region. They said that they work together and side by side to maintain security and stability in the region.
