The Serêkaniyê Displaced Persons Committee received lists from the presidential delegation containing the names of 500 families approved for return.

According to a source speaking to ANHA agency, the returning families include residents of villages situated between Tel Tamr and Zarghan, as well as those from villages south of the city of Serêkaniyê.

The source added that 140 families from the city center—specifically from the Al-Mahatta and Al-Abra neighborhoods—will also be returning.

The Serêkaniyê Displaced Persons Committee met to discuss return procedures, while other committee members met with representatives from humanitarian organizations and the UNHCR to discuss ways to support the returnees.
