Israeli forces entered the town of Jamlah in the Yarmouk Basin area of western Daraa countryside late last night, raiding several civilian homes and carrying out searches, while drones flew over the area.

ANHA  correspondent cited security and local sources as saying that a force consisting of several military vehicles and two tanks moved from the Tal Abu al-Ghithar position and traveled through the Wadi al-Raqad area, located along the administrative border between the provinces of Quneitra and Daraa, before entering the town of Jamlah.

According to SANA, Israeli forces deployed in several neighborhoods of the town and carried out raids and searches of a number of homes, while the skies over the area witnessed intensive drone activity. The agency did not provide information regarding any arrests or clashes as of the time the report was prepared.

Security tensions continue to prevail in the town and the targeted area, while Israeli forces maintain their movements in the region.

This incursion comes amid continued Israeli military activity in southern Syria and rising tensions along the border strip.
