Security measures implemented by SDF in eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor

4 fighters of the Syrian Democratic Forces were martyred and 7 others were injured as a result of a suicide bombing carried out by ISIS mercenaries, and a targeting carried out by mercenaries of the Damascus government forces in the town of Al-Shuhail in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, yesterday evening, Friday.

In light of the attack, the media center of the Syrian Democratic Forces published an update this evening on its official website, which stated:

 “Our forces are implementing precautionary security measures in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor against the backdrop of the terrorist attack by ISIS, which targeted a checkpoint of our forces in the city of Shuhail. The measures include intensifying security coverage and closing some areas to pursue terrorist cells and investigate those suspected of helping terrorists. These measures will be clearer and will be carried out in coordination with the notables of the region and the civil and military councils.

Our forces confirm that they will not hesitate to implement security measures and pursue terrorists.”
