Security forces arrest ISIS cell in Jazira Canton

Internal Security Forces in the North and East Syria arrested three ISIS cell mercenaries in the countryside of Al-Shaddadi city, in Jazira Canton.

The Media Center of the Internal Security Forces issued a statement today announcing the arrest of three ISIS cell mercenaries, stating: "The General Security Service, with support and participation from the Special Forces (H.A.T), conducted a precise security operation at dawn on Wednesday, July 30, targeting hideouts of ISIS terrorist cells active in the Al-Hamar area of Al-Shaddadi city.

The operation resulted in the arrest of three members of the terrorist cells, who were involved in acts of intimidation against civilians and attacks targeting our security forces.

During the raids, quantities of weapons and equipment in the possession of the terrorists were seized, including:

1. Kalashnikov rifles: 3

2. Empty Kalashnikov magazines: 15

3. Kalashnikov rounds: 231

4. Pistols of various types: 3

5. Pistol rounds of various calibers: 33
