SDF: Turkish occupation targets 42 service locations

The Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces issued a statement confirming that the Turkish occupation targeted 42 locations, all of which were essential service institutions, in addition to densely populated areas, during the Turkish bombardment of the North and East Syria region.

The statement read:

"During the past few hours, the Turkish occupation state carried out a new wave of attacks targeting the basic infrastructure necessary for the livelihoods of the people in the North and East Syria region, as well as civilian gatherings and security forces responsible for protecting the area.

The recent and ongoing Turkish aggression has led to the martyrdom of 12 civilians, including two children, and injured 25 others, some of whom are in critical condition.

In addition to populated areas, bakeries, electricity and oil stations, and checkpoints of the internal security forces responsible for protecting civilians were targets of warplanes, drones, and Turkish artillery, as 42 locations, all essential service institutions, were attacked.

This repeated barbaric aggression clearly expresses the Turkish hostility toward our people in North and East Syria and serves as a stark reminder of the dangers posed by the Turkish criminal mentality to the peoples of the region and their peace. It is a Turkish attempt to export its internal crises at the expense of our people and to spread chaos, further driving the region into more tensions.

Our forces, the Syrian Democratic Forces, which are once again facing this wave of ongoing Turkish aggression, will not hesitate to fulfill their duties to protect our people and our regions."
