SDF, SDC, and DAA renew call for national dialogue in Syria

The Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces issued a statement about the tripartite meeting that brought together SDF Commander-in-Chief Mazloum Abdi, General Command member Rojhilat Afrin, and leaders and representatives from the SDF, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, and the Syrian Democratic Council.

The meeting focused on the course of negotiations with the Syrian Transitional Government and on mechanisms to push forward the implementation of the March 10 Agreement.

Participants reviewed the progress achieved in this regard, reaffirming their commitment to the path of consensus and encouraging Damascus to adopt dialogue as a national approach to resolve pending issues.

They reiterated that the Syrian Democratic Forces remain firmly committed to national dialogue as the most effective way to achieve peace and stability across Syrian territory.

The participants welcomed the results of the Washington meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Syrian Transitional Government Prime Minister Ahmad al-Sharaa, considering the suspension of sanctions and the opening of diplomatic coordination channels as “a positive shift toward supporting a comprehensive political solution with the participation of all Syrians.”

The tripartite meeting also praised Syria’s accession to the International Coalition to Combat Terrorism, emphasizing that the SDF has been—and continues to be—the cornerstone of this coalition for a decade.

During the meeting, internal and administrative issues were discussed, with emphasis placed on improving the level of public services and enhancing the performance of civil institutions in North and East Syria.

The meeting concluded by reaffirming the unity of vision and responsibility among all Syrians, regardless of background or affiliation.
