SDF responds to sources of fire in Deir ez-Zor canton
The Syrian Democratic Forces responded to new sources of fire fired by Damascus government forces and "National Defense" mercenaries, in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor.
The Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces published new information on its virtual communication sites, after midnight last night, confirming that Damascus government forces and “National Defense” mercenaries had once again targeted a village in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor.
The published information also confirmed that the Syrian Democratic Forces responded to sources of fire in areas controlled by Damascus government forces and “National Defense” mercenaries.
Yesterday, the Syrian Democratic Forces responded to an attack launched by Damascus government forces and “National Defense” mercenaries, at approximately 02:00 after midnight (Tuesday - Wednesday) from their points in the countryside of Al-Mayadeen, Albu Kamal, and the Al-Ashara area, with artillery and heavy weapons.
It specifically targeted the vicinity of the town of Dhiban, and other towns, “Al-Shuhail, Al-Tayyana, Daranj, Abu Hardoub, Abu Hamam, Al-Latwa, Gharanij, and Al-Basira” in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor Canton.
The attack resulted in the death of 2 civilians, the injury of 7 others, and the burning of 2 water stations that left them out of service.
