Rohlat Afrin calls on Kurdish people in Europe

On behalf of the leadership of the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ) and the fighters in Rojava Kurdistan, Rohlat Afrin called on the Kurdish people in Europe to head toward Rojava in support, urging them to join today’s march in Dortmund.

Rohlat Afrin, a member of the General Command of the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ), delivered a video message addressed to Kurds abroad regarding the march scheduled to take place today at 5:00 p.m. in Dortmund, Germany.

She stated that the leadership of the Women’s Protection Units and all fighters in Rojava Kurdistan warmly welcome the strong popular marches taking place across Europe.

Rohlat Afrin also called on the peoples of Europe to take to the streets in solidarity with the people of Rojava and to join the march, saying: “Through your marches and enthusiasm, Rojava has not found itself alone. Let all Kurdish youth and women head to the Rojava square with one voice, one spirit, and one will. These are days and moments of honor, freedom, and sovereignty on the land.”

She affirmed that they will always take decisions based on life and free will against their enemies, and appealed to the people by saying: “We ask our people to stay away from provocations practiced during the marches.”
