In Garkê Legê, residents and displaced people from occupied Afrin condemned the attacks on these neighborhoods, stressing that targeting civilians—including women and children—violates agreements meant to ensure security and stability. They said that agreements that are not respected lose their value.

Displaced resident Zakia Youssef explained that the attacks aimed to weaken the will of the residents and increase their suffering, but they resisted bravely, enduring six days of continuous bombardment. Citizen Hussein Hajo added that the attacks sought to spread fear and looting, but the people, alongside local security forces, defended their neighborhoods, forming a strong barrier against the aggressors.

Idris Malla Sharif, co-chair of the Democratic Union Party in Karkî Lêkî, said praising the resistance is a national and moral duty and a model for all resisting peoples. Rania Mohammed emphasized that this resistance represents the will of the entire people and called for following its path to victory.

Displaced citizen Zakia Barakat stated that the attacks did not break the residents’ will but strengthened their unity with the internal security forces. Amsha Hussein from Jil Agha described the attacks as a blatant assault on civilian security and a violation of human values and international norms, expressing pride in the residents’ steadfastness.

In Al-Darbasiyah, resident Abeer Hassan said some parties are obstructing the implementation of the March 10 agreements and confirmed that the attacks were carried out under Turkish direction through Interim Government mercenaries. Citizen Emad Bro noted that the people repeatedly faced the attacks, writing heroic chapters in defense of their neighborhoods, calling the attacks crimes of war.

Citizen Haj Ali Haj Rasul from Tal Karmi condemned targeting civilians as immoral and inhuman, warning against attempts to incite division among Syrian communities, stressing that unity is the path to peace.

In Kobani, residents praised the steadfastness and resistance of Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh, with Aram Ety describing their efforts as a model of defending dignity, while Ronia Mohammed Bozan and Aref Bali highlighted it as a prominent example of the people’s resilience and will, confident that victory will follow.

Citizen Azimeh Rustem condemned the ongoing attacks by mercenaries listed as international terrorists, called for their immediate halt, and praised the courage and resilience of the residents, reaffirming support for their legitimate right to defend themselves.
