Residents of Tirbespiyê: Freedom of Leader is first step toward peace

The residents of Tirbespiyê in al-Jazira Canton expressed their conviction that achieving true peace begins with the physical liberation of Leader Abdullah Ocalan.

Citizen Manifa Hussein emphasized that Leader Abdullah Ocalan has always been an advocate for peace and has put forward visions that would achieve freedom and stability in the region. However, these efforts have been rejected by the Turkish state, which continues to impose policies of torture and isolation on him.

She added, "We call on the international community and the Turkish government to end these oppressive policies and lift the isolation imposed on Leader Ocalan, because achieving peace requires ending the torture and genocide against him."

 Citizen Hussein Khaled praised the leader's historic call, which received popular and international support. He noted that the Turkish occupation has not yet taken any tangible steps toward his initiative, but rather continues to impose isolation on him.

For her part, citizen Kharma Ali emphasized that the families of the martyrs will not cease their struggle and protest activities until the leader's physical freedom is achieved, as they believe in his ability to lead the region toward security and peace.

She emphasized that ending the policies of torture and isolation imposed by the Turkish state is an essential step toward achieving stability in Turkey and the entire region.
