Residents of Raqqa, Deir ez-Zor, and Tabqa head to Tishrin Dam to protest against attacks

Hundreds of residents from the cantons of Raqqa, Tabqa, and Deir ez-Zor have headed to Tishrin Dam to join the protesters opposing the attacks by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries on Tishrin Dam.

A short while ago, hundreds of residents from Raqqa, Tabqa, and Deir ez-Zor set off toward Tishrin Dam to join the ongoing protest at the dam, which has lasted for more than three months, to protect it from attacks by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries.

Dozens of residents gathered at the Al-Fourosya Roundabout in western Raqqa to head toward Tishrin Dam and participate in the protest activities, taking over the vigil from the residents of Jazera Canton. Amid revolutionary chants, the convoy of cars set off toward Tishrin Dam.

The popular protest organized by the residents of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria at Tishrin Dam has been ongoing since January 8, condemning the Turkish occupation's attacks on the region, especially on Tishrin Dam and the Qereqozaqê Bridge.

A short while ago, the vicinity of Tishrin Dam was once again shelled by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries.
