Residents of Kobani bid farewell to SDF in Kobani

Residents of the city of Kobani and its countryside, along with representatives of civil and military institutions, gathered today at the Martyr Dicle Cemetery to bid farewell to the body of Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) fighter Delovan (real name: Mustafa Mustafa), who was martyred yesterday while carrying out his duties in Kobani.

The ceremony began with a minute of silence in honor of the martyrs, followed by speeches delivered by Amal Baha al-Din and Suleiman Suleiman, members of the Martyrs' Families Council in Kobani. They emphasized loyalty to the sacrifices of the martyrs, continuing to defend the land, maintaining security and stability in the region, and preserving the achievements made possible through their sacrifices.

They also stressed that the memory of the martyrs will remain a source of inspiration for continuing the struggle for freedom, protecting society, and working toward building a democratic Syria that guarantees the rights of all its components.

The ceremony concluded with the reading of Delovan's martyr certificate and its presentation to his family before he was laid to rest amid ululations and chants of "Martyrs are immortal."
