Residents of Amuda demand physical freedom of Leader Ocalan

Today, the Democratic Union Party (PYD) held a meeting for the people of Amuda city, at its center, to explain the message of Leader Abdullah Ocalan in detail, with the participation of hundreds of people from Amuda city and its villages, in addition to members of civil society centers, and displaced people from the Shahba and Afrin cantons.

The meeting began with a minute of silence in honor of the souls of the martyrs. Then the participants discussed the beginning of the establishment of the Kurdistan Workers' Party in detail, and explained the message of Leader Abdullah Ocalan in which he called for peace and democracy for all peoples.

They pointed out that: "Countries associate the name of the Kurdistan Workers' Party with "terrorism", and that the Kurdish issue has been discussed by the world, and that Leader Abdullah Ocalan's campaign has spread all over the world."

They stressed that: "The PKK has declared disarmament, but on the condition that all the demands and conditions of Leader Abdullah Ocalan are met, and the leader's physical freedom must be achieved to organize the movement himself."

They pointed out that "the leader wants peace, democracy and a political solution, because we are going through a new phase and victory and the demand of Leader Abdullah Ocalan must be achieved."

They noted that "Leader Abdullah Ocalan's call will be implemented, but on the condition that the Kurds are given all their rights and that the leader himself organizes this movement and his physical freedom must be achieved."

At the end of the meeting, the participants demanded to see the leader directly.

The meeting ended with chanting "No life without the leader," "Long live the leader," and "Women, life, freedom."
