Relatives of Imrali detainees submit new request for visit

The brother of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, along with the siblings of three other detainees in Imrali, have submitted a new request to the Turkish authorities for a meeting with them.

Today, the leader Abdullah Ocalan's brother, Muhammad Ocalan, through his lawyer Mezlum Dinç, along with the sister of detainee Omar Khairi Kunar, Amina Kunar, the brother of Hamili Yildirim, Bulat Yildirim, and the sister of Veysi Aktaş, Meliha Aktaş, submitted a new request to the public prosecutor's office in Bursa and the Imrali prison administration for a meeting.

Lawyers from the Al-Asr Human Rights Office submit two requests each week to the public prosecutor's office in Bursa and the Imrali prison administration for a meeting. Their relatives also submit two requests each week, totaling 16 requests per month, without receiving any response.

Meanwhile, the system of torture and extermination continues in Imrali, with leader Abdullah Ocalan being denied his rights as a detainee, through the renewal of what the Turkish authorities call "disciplinary sanctions."
