The Zenobia Women's Gathering in the city of Hajin, Deir ez-Zor Canton, organized the first reading session of Leader Abdullah Ocalan’s manifesto "Peace and Democratic Society." Approximately 30 women from various institutions and local councils participated. Participants included members of women's committees, representatives of local councils, and members of the Internal Security Forces.

The participants agreed to dedicate daily sessions to reading the book over the course of a week, interspersed with group discussions on its contents and proposing mechanisms for implementing its ideas practically within the local community context.

The session began with a minute of silence, followed by a speech by administrator Safaa Al-Ahmad, who emphasized that the essence of the "Peace and Democratic Society" manifesto lies in rejecting the authoritarian, centralized nation-state, as the fundamental cause of conflicts and wars in the Middle East, and calling for a model of democratic nationhood based on participatory Autonomous Administration .

Safaa Al-Ahmad added that true peace is not achieved through international powers or agreements between regimes, but rather through self-organization of society on direct democratic foundations, emphasizing that the experience of the Autonomous Administration in North and East Syria is a practical model for this.

She also explained that the "Peace and Democratic Society" manifesto presents a vision for coexistence among Syrian communities based on equality, free citizenship, and guaranteed constitutional rights, as an alternative to the policies of marginalization and discrimination pursued by totalitarian regimes
