The Education Body in Raqqa Canton, in coordination with the executive council's bodies in the governorate, is preparing examination centers to provide a suitable environment for students taking the preparatory certificate exams under the Baath system curriculum.

On June 10, the Executive Council in Raqqa  held an extensive meeting involving all relevant bodies responsible for organizing the examination process, aiming to ensure that public exams proceed in a disciplined and safe environment. The council also formed a task force to monitor all service and organizational procedures related to the exams.

Based on the number of registered students, the authority designated 27 examination centers in Raqqa and its countryside, with the possibility of increasing the number immediately to ensure the integrity and transparency of the process. It was decided to completely cut off communication networks and the internet during exam hours to enhance absolute transparency.

Since June 11, thousands of students have flocked to the Education Body to renew their registrations. The examination process for the Basic Education Certificate (Grade 9) is scheduled to begin on June 21.

Dr. Abdul Khalil, the member of the Health Body in the governorate, told ANHA Agency that the meeting, which included the joint leadership of the education councils and the task force, focused on preparing examination centers for preparatory and secondary (scientific and literary) students.

Khalil explained that the Health Body is working on establishing fully equipped medical points in all examination centers in partnership with the Kurdish Red Crescent, as well as strengthening rapid response teams to handle any medical emergencies during the exam period in the city and countryside.

For his part, Engineer Muhannad Al-Shami, the Co-Chair of the People's Municipality in Raqqa, revealed a comprehensive plan for the municipality's role in the exams. He said, "We have mobilized sanitation, cleaning, and public works teams to secure 27 examination centers."

He added, "Our tasks include sterilizing the centers, providing potable water daily, maintaining lighting systems, securing electricity, and supporting the Education Authority by providing all logistical needs."

He confirmed, "Our teams have already started fieldwork, including cleaning, maintenance, and lighting, and we have prepared initial response teams available around the clock."

These measures represent a significant step in organizing exams in the region, with the health, municipal, and educational bodies' staff integrated into a single task force. The goal of this coordination is to ensure a stable examination environment that matches the students' academic efforts.
