Rally for Leader Ocalan's physical freedom in Shaddadi

The people of the southern regions went out in a rally; slamming the strict isolation on Leader Abdullah Ocalan, they stressed the continuation of the struggle and resistance to achieve leade physical freedom.

Today, residents of the southern regions of Jazera Canton, from the city of Markada and the towns of Abadan and Al-Arisha, flocked to the city of Shaddadi to protest against  the isolation imposed on leader Abdullah Ocalan and demanding his physical freedom.

The Rally started in front of Zori roundabout in the city of Shaddadi towards the garden of leader Abdullah Ocalan, raising banners denouncing isolation and demanding the leader’s physical freedom.

The participants observed a minute of silence, then the administrator of Kongra Star in Shaddadi, Amira Al-Saad, delivered a speech in which she said: “From this place we say yes for breaking the isolation imposed on Leader Abdullah Ocalan with the aim of breaking the will of the peoples yearning for freedom.”

She stressed, "We will resist with all our might to achieve the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan."

The Democratic Union Party's administrator, Mahidi Al-Daghim, also delivered a speech in which he affirmed, "Today we stand here to confirm our standing with Leader Abdullah Ocalan against the Turkish occupation and the strict isolation "

He noted that the international community must put pressure on the Turkish state to allow leader Abdullah Ocalan's lawyer to visit him and achieve his physical freedom.

The Rally ended with chanting, “There is no life without the leader.”
