Developing Council's work mechanism and organizing young women

Amina Bayram explained that their discussions within the conference focus on the need to develop the Council's work mechanism in order to increase the level of women's organization and raise the pace of their struggle within society.

She noted that one of the most focused aspects of the conference was to raise the profile of their struggle for the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan.

The other aspect that was highlighted at the conference was the organization of young women, "because they are the most vulnerable to the private war practiced by capitalist regimes, and because they are the future of society."

Close relationships

The conference also highlighted the importance of establishing strong relations with all women, not only with Syrian women, but with all women seeking freedom and aspiring to independence, and that the thought and philosophy of leader Ocalan be at the center of these relations, according to Amina Bayram

In addition to what Amina pointed out, she also talked about sharing the experience of the women's revolution in Rojava and the NE Syria with women, in addition to the stages reached by the revolution.

Finding solutions to societal problems

Amina Bayram explained that during the conference, they discussed crimes and violations committed against women, and societal problems that limit and weaken the development of societies, noting that they seek to find solutions to these problems, and to identify violations against women, by strengthening the women's front and increasing community awareness about everything that hinders its progress.

Amina Bayram, member of the PYD's General Council, said that the PYD's Women's Council will organize itself more politically, to present a model for democratic politics, and to follow the path of the party and the institutions of democratic autonomous-administration.
