PYD condemns the Turkish occupation's targeting of one of its members

The Democratic Union Party (PYD) revealed the martyrdom of Hawker Arabo, one of its members, as a result of the Turkish occupation's bombing, during a medical trip in southern Kurdistan, on January 27.

In a statement today, the party condemned the "inhumane attack by the Turkish state", and offered its condolences to the "patriotic family of the martyr" and to the people.

Hawker Arabo comes from a patriotic family, raised and educated on the spirit of patriotism and sacrifice within his family who made great sacrifices for the cause of their people, according to the statement, which also referred to the martyr's struggle, and said: "Our comrade Hawker struggled within the youth organization of our party and was active and effective, full of revolutionary spirit and struggle, and devoted all his time and capabilities to strengthening his organization and the cause of his people."

Noting that Hawker joined the ranks of the resistance side by side with the daughters and sons of North and East Syria in order to defend their people against the attacks of ISIS and the Turkish occupation state on the region, until he was seriously injured and was transferred to hospitals in Southern Kurdistan to complete his treatment there.

While the Democratic Union Party offered its condolences to the family of the martyr Hawker, his comrades and the people, the martyr Hawker and all the martyrs of freedom pledged to follow in their footsteps and immortalize their memory "until the dreams of our martyrs are fulfilled and the cause of our people is victorious in freedom and building a democratic, decentralized Syria."
