PYD: AANES model is only way to resolve Syrian crisis
The Democratic Union Party (PYD) confirmed that the model of democratic Autonomous Administration is the only way out to solve the Syrian crisis, and guarantees the rights of all the people of Syria.
The statement touched on the circumstances and reasons for establishing AANES, at a time when Syrians were being killed and displaced by extremist organizations.
The statement explained: “The political forces led by PYD were able to build the basic building blocks for the Autonomous Administration project for NE Syria, which was extended to the rest of the regions of NE Syria after their liberation by the Syrian Democratic Forces from the terrorist organization ISIS, forming seven provinces that constitute the current administration.” The AANES is based on the principle of coexistence, the brotherhood of peoples, and the unity of their destiny. This Administration also represents in accordance with its societal contract, the aspirations of the components of NE Syria (Kurds, Arabs, Syriacs, Assyrians, Armenians, Turkmen, Circassians, and Chechens) through building a moral and political system that represents them all with leadership of free women and the revolutionary youth."
The statement added, "We at PYD congratulate the families of the martyrs and all the people of NE Syria on the occasion of this anniversary,and we salute their struggle and the great sacrifices."
"We remember the martyrs of freedom pledge to them on this great occasion that they will remain a beacon for us."
