Today, a number of residents from western Sweida countryside gathered in front of the governorate building, holding signs demanding to return to their homes from which they were displaced during the incursion of transitional government forces in mid-July, and calling for the expulsion of outsiders and the return of the kidnapped men and women.

Simultaneously, dozens of citizens protested in Al-Karama Square, denouncing the transitional government in Syria and urging the international community to intervene to protect civilians and ensure the immediate release of all kidnapped individuals.
