Presidential Body of SDC holds its first meeting

The Presidential Body of SDC assigned the bureau heads to review the Council’s documents, including the Roadmap for the Solution of the Syrian Crisis, the Political Document of the Council, and its Internal System and New Structure, in order to organize work accordingly.

The Presidential Body of the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) held on Sunday, Jan.28, 2024, its inaugural meeting that attended by the 15 male and female members of the body, and headed by the Co-presidency of the Syrian Democratic Council, Laila Qaraman and Mahmoud Al-Musult.

It assigned bureau heads to complete the formation of the bureaus and review the Council’s documents, including the Roadmap for the Solution of the Syrian Crisis, the Political Document of the Council, and its Internal System and New Structure, in order to organize work accordingly.

SDC website stated that the Presidential Body: “stressed the necessity of focusing on the Council’s work strategy that was stipulated by the General Council in its meeting held on the 21st of this January, which is to continue work on the Syrian-Syrian dialogue, and to increase the pace of communication and coordination with the active countries in the Syrian issue, including the United Nations, and all foreign and Arab political blocs and work to end all occupations of Syrian lands.
