Political parties hope for unity

The Secretary of the Kurdistan Democratic Party PDK-Syria, Joan Sku and the General Secretary of the Kurdistan Communist Party (PKK), Najmuddin Mullah Omar, referred to the important talks taking place between the Kurdish parties and expressed their hope for building unity.

The Secretary of the Kurdistan Democratic Party-Syria (PDK-Syria), Joan Seko and the Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Communist Party (PKK), Najmuddin Mullah Omar told ANHA's agency about the ongoing meetings between Kurdish political parties in the cities of North and East Syria aimed at building unity.

Joan Scoo: We want to take a different step

The Secretary of the Kurdistan Democratic Party-Syria (PDK-Syria), Joan Seko, noted the Kurdish people and their political parties' need for unity, highlighted the steps taken so far, attributed the failure of attempts and efforts in this regard for many reasons, and revealed that political parties in the northern and eastern Syrian region are this time seeking to take a different step.

Joan Seko expressed the hope that unity between the Kurdish parties would be achieved this time, saying: "Many issues have been discussed in the meetings held so far to build a political and Kurdistan umbrella."

Joan Seko noted that they are at a critical stage and continued: "We must all join hands and end external interventions and aggression in our country. This is a national duty of all Kurdistan parties, and this Kurdish unity requires hard work, so work is being done on the draft."

"Committees have been formed."

Seko stated that committees had been set up for meetings with Kurdish parties such as the Kurdish National Council and others, as well as meetings with a number of independent personalities, intellectuals and Kurdish clan members, and pointed out that the success of the move required considerable effort, and expressed the hope that all Kurdish parties would unite the Kurdistan class.

Najmuddin Mullah Omar: Some follow their interests

The Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Communist Party, Najmuddin Mulla Omar, highlighted the need to build Kurdish unity to preserve the achievements of the Kurdish people and society and said: "The struggle must be on the same path and the obstacles caused by the loss of the Kurdish people must be removed.

Najmuddin Mullah Omar noted the considerable efforts of Rojava, North and East Syria to unite the Kurdish House and the participation of many parties. He pointed out that some parties were not involved in the pursuit of Kurdish unity and did not join meetings because of their party interests, and tried to scuttle it.

The Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Communist Party emphasized that Kurdish unity was their first and final objective, and expressed their desire to defeat all conspiracies against the Kurdish people.
