The death toll from mutual attacks between Damascus forces and mercenaries in northwestern Syria reached 170 people.

Three members of the Damascus forces were killed by snipers by Al-Fath Al-Mubin mercenaries in Al-Kabina in the northern countryside of Latakia, and another member was killed by snipers by mercenaries in Sheikh Aqeel in the western countryside of Aleppo, northwestern Syria, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

SOHR pointed out that the death toll has risen to 170 people, as a result of ground attacks in northwestern Syria since the beginning of 2024, during 141 operations that varied between attacks, sniper operations, clashes, targets, and suicide marches. More than 112 people were injured in the aforementioned attacks.
