Ahead of submitting the framework law proposal to the Turkish parliament, Ankara witnessed intensive political activity. In this context, the AKP held consecutive meetings with political parties represented in parliament prior to the proposal's referral.

Before these meetings began, the AKP also opened the process of signing the framework law proposal to its members of parliament, requesting all MPs to complete signing the proposal by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
