The Governor of Hasakah affirmed during a meeting with a number of protesters over the currency exchange deadline that he would convey their demands to the relevant authorities and work to find solutions to ease the difficulties faced by citizens.

Hasakah Governor Nour al-Din Ahmad met on Tuesday with a number of citizens protesting in front of the governorate building over the timeframe set for replacing the Syrian currency.

The governor listened to the protesters' demands and remarks regarding the period allocated for the exchange process, as well as citizens' concerns that they may be unable to complete their transactions within the specified deadline.

He affirmed that the governorate is closely following the issue and that he will convey residents' demands to the relevant authorities, while making the necessary efforts to find solutions that take citizens' interests into account and ease the difficulties they face during the currency exchange process.

The governor stressed the importance of maintaining calm and cooperation, and continuing communication with the relevant authorities to address the issues raised in a way that serves the public interest.
