Dozens of As-Suwayda residents protested, also today, in Karama Square in the center of the city of As-Suwayda to confirm the continuation of their protests against the Damascus government and Assad.

The protesters renewed their demands to “overthrow the regime,” “release the detainees,” and “implement International Resolution 2,254.”

Protesters carried banners reading: “A dictator does not create a civilization,” “Our strength is in our unity... with love we build Syria,” and “To the international community... there is a humanitarian issue that deserves your attention.”

For about 7 months, the people of As-Suwayda have continued their protests demanding change, which began due to the deterioration of the living and security situation, without any notable development.
