The Women's News Agency (NUJINHA) said that her correspondent in Aleppo was threatened, and that women who spoke to the agency in press interviews were assaulted and beaten by unknown persons.

These details were reported by the agency in a news published today, on its official website, noting that in light of the important role played by the press in our time, journalists face various types of harassment and pressures that limit their work.

Threats to the agency's correspondent were not limited to anonymous letters or external intimidation attempts, but extended to the family, as well as the women interviewed by the agency earlier were beaten and threatened with "death," the agency said.

The agency also revealed direct threatening messages that affected its virtual sites, where unknown persons sent messages saying: "If the videos were not deleted, we will sue you and destroy you.
