New Israeli incursion in rural Quneitra
An Israeli force consisting of six military vehicles has entered rural Quneitra without setting up checkpoints or engaging in direct confrontations, marking a new escalation in tensions in southern Syria.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that an Israeli force made up of six military vehicles advanced near the village of Jabata al-Khashab in rural Quneitra. The force moved toward the town via the western Suwayda road without setting up checkpoints or encountering any clashes.
This development comes a day after Israeli forces dropped illumination flares over the village of Kodnah in southern Quneitra, with no known reason or confirmation of any clashes in the area.
It is worth noting that this is not the first such movement. Israeli forces have previously dropped illumination flares west of the towns of Hadar and Jabata al-Khashab in northern Quneitra in similar incidents, raising questions about Israel's objectives in the region.
Amid these developments, the situation in rural Quneitra remains tense, with growing concerns about a possible military escalation, especially given continued Israeli movements near the Syrian border.
