National Guard in Suwaida prohibits publication of any military information

The National Guard Command in Suwaida issued a circular today emphasizing the prohibition of publishing or circulating any field information related to operations responding to what it described as "violations and attacks by the terrorist government forces on the front lines and residential areas." The circular stressed the necessity of full compliance with Circular No. 7 issued by the Military Judiciary Administration.

The circular stated: "It is strictly forbidden to broadcast, publish, or circulate any videos, images, or field reports, or to mention the names of fighters, casualties, or wounded, from any source whatsoever," whether through media offices, social media pages, or activists. It indicated that this measure is taken "to ensure the smooth conduct of defensive operations and to prevent the incitement of unrest through the dissemination of false or inaccurate information."

The command emphasized that "any violation of the instructions contained in this circular, or in Circular No. 7, will subject the perpetrator to legal accountability and punishment through the Military Judiciary."

It called on residents "not to circulate, publish, or republish any information of a military nature issued by an unofficial source," stressing that this is aimed at preserving "the security of the mountain and preventing the exploitation of information to incite discord and spread misinformation."
