According to the Women’s News Agency (NUJINHA), the center announced the publication of the first issue of “Women’s Vision,” the first scientific, cultural, and political magazine specialized in presenting women’s perspectives in the Middle East from a contemporary feminist academic framework.

This publication represents a qualitative step in the development of feminist studies in the region, by providing a research and intellectual platform that expresses women’s voices as an essential part of human knowledge.

The first issue was released in April and includes a wide range of articles and studies addressing women’s and societal issues from sociological, political, cultural, and psychological perspectives, with a focus on analyzing social reality and presenting approaches and solutions based on the latest research in psychology, sociology, and anthropology.

In its editorial, the magazine raises a central question: “How do we see the world? From which perspective do we read it?” It emphasizes that this title reflects the belief that the 21st century is witnessing a profound transformation in the structure of human thought.

It notes that traditional conflicts that shaped the 19th and 20th centuries, such as class and ideological struggles, are declining in favor of a more fundamental conflict related to the structure of consciousness and the relationship between men and women, power and life, science and society.

The magazine asserts that this transformation requires a re-reading of reality through a critical feminist lens that goes beyond traditional binaries and explores possibilities of freedom, drawing on historical experiences of women in the region and around the world.

“Women’s Vision” aims to be a dynamic space for dialogue and reflection, and a platform for rediscovering women’s identity and history through articles and studies that address questions of identity and existence, such as: Who is the woman? How does she live? And how does she reshape her relationship with the world?

The editorial board explains that the feminist issue is not the concern of a specific group or gender, but rather a societal issue as a whole, as the imbalance in the relationship between men and women reflects a deeper crisis in the structures of thought and power.

The first issue includes in-depth analyses of social, economic, and cultural issues, along with articles reviewing women’s experiences in the Middle East and reinterpreting history in a way that highlights women’s roles and contributions.

It also presents modern scientific approaches to understanding the challenges facing women today, while exploring possibilities for change and building a more just and equal future.

The center confirmed that the launch of the magazine marks the beginning of a long-term path aimed at reintroducing major questions about humanity and society from a feminist perspective, and building a knowledge space where thought, politics, history, literature, and art interact, based on the idea that real change is achieved through the integration of different levels of awareness.

The magazine aspires to be a creative voice that reanalyzes and reinterprets history, drawing on the experiences of women in the Middle East to build a better future for all women.
