Egyptian activists shared the video showing a group of interim government mercenaries mutilating and abusing the body of a female member of the Internal Security Forces in Sheikh Maqsoud, Aleppo, and confirmed that among them was an Egyptian mercenary named Ahmed Hamad Al-Mansour.

According to Egyptian media platforms, the mercenary Ahmed Al-Mansour is wanted by Egyptian security on terrorism-related charges. He has been living in Syria for years and has previously appeared in video recordings in which he issued threats against Egypt.

Press reports indicate that he was born in Alexandria, hails from Sohag governorate, and studied at a secondary Azhar institute before joining “Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham.”

The video, which circulated widely on social media and documented the mercenaries’ assault on the body of the Internal Security Forces member in the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood of Aleppo after her martyrdom, as they chanted “Allahu Akbar” before throwing the body from a building, sparked widespread anger, outrage, and strong condemnation.

The identity of the Internal Security Forces member has not yet been known, although the mercenaries themselves claimed that she was a sniper who resisted alone for hours before being martyred.

Activists said that what these mercenaries did constitutes a war crime and a serious violation of human rights, criticizing the silence of international human rights organizations regarding what has happened and continues to happen in the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods of Aleppo, where crimes and massacres against civilians, women, and children are being committed by the interim government’s mercenaries in Syria.
