Mercenaries control most of Aleppo neighborhoods in handover scenario 

The mercenaries of Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham have seized control of dozens of neighborhoods in Aleppo without significant resistance from Damascus government forces.

The neighborhoods seized by the mercenaries include Bustan al-Qasr, Kallaseh, Al-Fardous, Al-Qusaila, the Citadel and its surroundings, Jamilia, Salah al-Din, Bustan al-Zahra, Al-Faydh, New Aleppo, Al-Rashideen (fourth and fifth neighborhoods), the industrial zone of Ramouseh, Al-Hamdaniya, Al-Miridian, Al-Furqan, and parts of Bab Al-Nayrab, Al-Aziziya, and Al-Seryan, among other areas.

Among the most vital locations taken over by the mercenaries of Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham are the Aleppo Police Command Headquarters, the Military Academy, Scientific Research facilities, Aleppo Governorate Building, Artillery College, Immigration and Passports Building, Saadallah Al-Jabiri Square, Communications Directorate Building, Aleppo Education Directorate, and Aleppo University. However, their complete control of the city's electricity company headquarters remains unconfirmed.

Videos circulating on social media confirmed the mercenaries' seizure of large quantities of ammunition from military points, indicating a possible handover scenario between the mercenaries and the Damascus government, as no shots were fired at many locations.

Moreover, ISIS insignias appeared on the clothing and military gear of the mercenaries, indicating the direct involvement of remaining foreign ISIS elements alongside the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation and Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra) in the attacks on Aleppo.

Numerous sources have confirmed that the mercenaries, due to their unorganized spread, reached several neighborhoods through side streets as individuals or small groups, filming their presence without fully controlling those areas. This has contributed to the circulation of some conflicting reports.

This morning, silence prevailed in the city, with no gunfire heard across its neighborhoods. Warplanes were observed flying over the city, launching several airstrikes on gatherings in New Aleppo.
